Why you need to be friends with a Travel Expert!

 

"I want to go" is something I hear all of the time when I tell people about the amazing trips that travel experts are offered.  So, what if it was easier for you to know when these opportunities existed...Bali anyone? Costa Rica? Italy?

            

You know when you were 16 and you got a job at a place that you loved and then you were so excited about the discount?  I worked retail a large portion of my life and gotten discounts on everything for shoes to appliances, clothes and cosmetics...it was awesome!!  Giving your friends your discount in retail will probably get you fired...but fast forward to the greatest job ever as a travel expert and there are times we get to share with our friends, family and clients!!

Travel is a gift and an experience that you just can't explain so it is honestly the best thing to be able to share the actual experience!!  Many times travel experts are offered a FAM (familiarization) trip to allow us to experience a particular destination and a deeply discounted price.  As with anywhere you work, you will share with genuine passion the things that you love the most!  So, if I can experience a destination, I will have the inside info to share with clients as well as tips and tricks.

So what if I told you that sometimes we can bring people along on a FAM trip...like a small group so you could bring a friend or two also?!!  As long as you are an awesome, fun person that loves to travel and experience new things, you can be on the list to hear about these opportunities!!  Now, we all only have so many hours in the day and weeks in the year and we have to prioritize our next trip but sometimes something comes along that is just WAY to good to pass up!

When you are traveling with travel industry experts, you are going to get a behind the scenes view of the best parts of the destination, the best excursions, local food and get treated like royalty!  My husband only has 3 weeks of vacation so I usually have a girlfriend that I can convince to be my travel buddy but there are times that I can take small groups of people...that's where the being fun and amazing comes in :)

It's like getting your friend's discount for a week of incredible adventures!!  How does this work...well you can fill in the form below which is just your basic contact info and the destinations you are interested in and I keep you posted of what is coming available.  In fact, sometimes there are friends and family rates available and I don't even have to go on the trip...I can just give you my discount!!

What is the catch, you ask?  There is no catch, but there are always a very limited number of spots available so you usually have to act fairly quickly and the dates are usually not flexible.  I am given the dates and the itinerary and it is a package. However, you usually would have the option to go early or stay longer if there were specific stops you wanted to experince in more depth.
